JOLLY GOOD SHOW PRODUCTIONS, a non-profit making, voluntary run theatre arts organisation is now able to offer its students far more opportunities than ever before. Top professional and highly qualified tutors include Tracey Carmen, EMI and Virgin singing coach to the stars (who coaches and wrote Atomic Kitten’s last hit at Christmas), Jocelyn McMillan, BA (Hons) Drama, Sally Barnard (drama) and Claire Bailey (Musical Theatre).
Jolly Good Shows now proudly offers its students TV and Theatre, dance and modelling agency representation internationally through its association with JKS Management Agency.
On top of that, THEIR OWN independent record label AND recording studios, together with QUALITY MUSIC AND THEATRE ARTS LINKS, give the students (from ages 5 through to adult) huge scope to progress if they so wish.
Specialist weekly workshops will include NEW 'JOLLY TOTS' CLASSES for 5-7 year olds, Pop singing and dance sessions, in the Pop Music Academy, Teaching courses for students from age 18 in dance and music and a Specialised Foundation course for 17 year olds, and also modelling.
Included are fashion shows, international productions and professional shows in Britain, dance and singing examinations, outreach training courses for schools and agencies.
Jolly Good Show Productions, since it was founded 5 years ago by Jan and Kevin Otley, from Abergele, has taken lots of students to perform in London’s West End, being the first theatre school in North Wales to perform at the London Palladium and Her Majesty’s theatre, as well as at major theatres throughout Britain.
Following our SELL OUT run of Bugsy Malone at Theatr Clwyd last year, with two completely different casts, 'JOLLY GOOD SHOWS' is back at Theatr Clwyd with our July 2003 show 20th Century Rewind which was also a sell out and caught the eye of the BBC. ''More info to follow!!''
Also we are working with Prestatyn Town Council, with Summer schools and planning a September Keep-Fit weekend with our 'It's a Knockout' at Pontin's.
MUMS AND DADS - Is YOUR child is a budding star WITH THE SELF DISCIPLINE AND ATTITUDE NECESSARY TO SUCCEED? Would YOU like them to be part of an organisation offering the productions and opportunities that could not be found anywhere else in North Wales or the North of England?

London Palladium - 12th November 2000
Write-up of the performance taken from the Rhyl Journal:
"Talented youngsters took a West End theatre by storm when they were stars for a night.
"There was a standing ovation for 34 students from Prestatyn-based Jolly Good Show Productions when they appeared at the London Palladium.
"The company, the first theatre school in North Wales ever to be invited to perform at the Palladium, took part in a special one-off Sunday Night At The London Palladium to raise money for the Richard House Trust to build a hospice for terminally ill children.
"They opened the show with Robbie Williams' Let Me Entertain You and presented a music hall medley of pearly kings and queens in the second half.
"The show organisers were so impressed with their performance they have been invited back again next year.
"Kevin Otley, who founded JGS Productions with his wife Jan, whose uncle is comedian Ken Dodd, said: "The children were totally overwhelmed with the experience. It was wonderful for them being on the Palladium stage with superb sets and lighting and massive applause. It was very emotional, absolutely brilliant."
"The day after their star turn the youngsters were treated to a tour of the BBC and got the chance to record their own show with each child taking part in the acting or helping out with sound effects and direction."
