Of the hundreds of card games, simple and complicated, Bridge is the only one where the main interest is the game, and not the money at stake or the prize. Not only is it often played without money, but enthusiasts pay cheerfully for the privilege of playing it. It is truly a game played for love and for millions of people all over the world, it is a totally absorbing pastime.

Those taking part range from social players to the more serious tournament participants. At any level, there is the chance to meet countless people, and make many friends. It is not, however, a game you can pick up as you go along. You must learn at least the rudiments before you can sit down and play. There are many social players in Prestatyn. Why don't some of you try your hand at Duplicate? We don't bite, and Club Bridge is a far less serious affair than you might imagine.
